The 45T is here. 45 tonnes, standard rear steering, optional brakes. Learn what's new, how it fits alongside the rest of the range, and the practical details worth knowing before you spec one.
Tyre ratings on chaser bins aren't a single number: load index, speed symbol and cyclic loading all interact. Understand how to read the codes, why width and tread matter for your soil as much as your load capacity, and what to check before fitting third-party tracks.
Correctly sizing a chaser bin means matching header class, truck loads, crop density and carting distance. A '30T' from one brand doesn't hold the same grain as another. This guide works through the maths so you buy the size your harvest system actually uses, not the biggest number on the brochure.
When connecting the PTO from the tractor to the chaser bin, the PTO shaft may need to be cut to ensure it is the correct length. If the shaft is too long, it can bottom out causing damage telescopic sections and connecting components. If it is too short, it may disengage when the tractor moves through peaks and troughs.
