 Davimac SD Drill.

 Description:
The Davimac SD Drill has been developed to cater for the needs of the progressive farmer. Davimac has drawn on its years of experience in the seeding industry to build a planter that has an accurate metering system and precise depth control.

The SD Drill is designed so you have the flexibility to configure the planter to suit your requirements. Features including powder coated large capacity seed and fertilizer boxes which can sow a large range of seeds and fertilizers from both boxes.

The seeding/fertilizer rate can be infinitely varied simply by moving a lever. The boxes also have a clean out plate for easy clean out.

The large space of 600mm (500mm on 4 tool bar drill) between tool bars improves trash handling ability.

The SD Drill comes in a range of sizes from 10 rows to 27 rows in 150mm (6") or 175mm (7") spacings and can have larger row spacings if required.

High flotation tyres means more accurate seed placement and less compaction.

Features:
• Heavy duty frame manufactured from 100x100x6 RHS and plate (16mm and 12mm) and powder coated for a long lasting and quality finish.

• The seed box has an extra large capacity of 165 litres of seed and 165 litres of fertilizer per metre of box and large windows to keep an eye on gain levels. The box is powder coated to prevent rust.

• Heavy duty floatation wheels (11.5-80-15.3) are fitted as standard on 10 to 19 row machines and 400-60-15.5 fitted on 22 to 26 row machines the wheels are mounted on a heavy duty stub axel and swing arm.

• Option disc coulters to handle more trash. The disc coulters have a large 16" disc, quality bearings with triple lip seals, the coulters also befit from a sideways swivel to prolong bearing life and lets you turn with the machine in the ground.

• High quality coil tynes as standard with your choice of cast points. Optional spring release tynes for better trash clears and better handling of rocks. Press wheels optional. Single disc units can be fitted.

• Small seed box can be fitted as an option to under sow or to sow at rates below 4kgs (depending on seed).
