The Davimac Single Disc Planter has everything you need in a disc planter. Davimac disc planters provide top performance and very low maintenance disc units, extra large capacity seed and fertilizer boxes, heavy duty construction, simplicity and to top it off, it's Australian made and backed.
When you purchase a Disc Planter, you benefit from the use of off the shelf parts for the disc units which means less down time and less cost.
The seed and fertilizer can be infinitely varied with the variable speed gear boxes.
Heavy duty disc units have 18" discs 6.4mm thick, 16" gauge wheel and a 15" press wheel.
The disc units are kept in the ground by a hydraulic cylinder which can be infinitely varied in down pressure.

• Standard taper roller car wheel bearings in disc unit hubs for long life.

• Disc units are very low maintenance, they have only one grease nipple on the press wheel which only needs greasing yearly.
• Constant hydraulic down force.

• Box and frame are powder coated for a superior and long lasting finish.
• Heavy duty frame manufactured from 200x200 and 100x100x6 RHS and plate (16mm and 12mm) and powder coated for a long lasting and quality finish.
• The seed box has an extra large capacity of 260 litres of seed and 260 litres of fertilizer per metre of box and large windows to keep an eye on gain levels. The box is powder coated to prevent rust.
• Single disc units are a high quality, low maintenance, designed to keep you going when it counts. The disc units down pressure can be infinitely varied from a single point. The unit has 10 depth settings which are in 10mm increments. The bearings are high quality tapered roller bearing with triple lip seals.
• Single disc units with gauge wheels and press wheels (the disc units we use) are far superior to other styles of disc units (double disc, triple disc and single disc without gauge wheels) they have less soil disturbance, better seed soil contact, better penetration and better depth control.
