Davimac is fast becoming a household name in the world of Agriculture. It's reputation in building high quality, extremely durable and reliable seed drills, chaser bins and other farming equipment is fast joining the ranks of other well known manufacturers.
The beginnings of Davimac started back in 1982 in an old shed on a farm west of Molong NSW. Running the operation was David McNab whom as a young 15 year old school boy first envisaged Davimac.
A huge demand meant that by 1989, a new larger factory was needed and built where the existing factory is today (2015), in Wellington Street.
2001 saw a new generation take on the family business, David McNab's son, Shannon McNab. At the age of 16, and on agreement with his father, Shannon trained as a fitter and machinist. He worked looking for innovative new designs to optimise farming practices.
Now in its fourth decade, Davimac has further expanded the business capacity and employees, with future plans to relocate to their own industrial estate. The company is one of the great success stories of Australian farm manufacturing.
